EXISTENTIAL PSYCHOLOGY
Existential psychology comes from the words “to emerge” or "to become" for persons has nothing to do with the bitter
and self-defeating European philosophy called existentialism, secular humanism, nihilism or scientism that
emerged during the ghastly World Wars, the almost inconceivable Holocaust and half a century of the
debilitating Cold War. Authors such as Jean Paul Sartre and Albert Camus were reacting to the stark horrors
of their era during which almost a hundred million persons
were slain in the brutal 19th and 20th century wars. It was
almost impossible for honest European philosophers to find a
silver lining to the orgy of blood and fire in which their
people were trapped for three full generations. It is still
heart-breaking to visit the vast European military
cemeteries with their endless rows of grave markers over the
millions of slain young men who paid the ultimate price
because of the spiritual and ethical bankruptcy of their
political, financial, military and religious leaders.
A Cautionary Note - Do not mistake us for a diploma mill
because we educate scholars through the individualized
Oxford University learning style with an assigned Academic
Don. Our courses are challenging enough that you
shall boast of completing your degree with sweat equity and
perhaps some drawing of blood. These are well earned degrees
but even so, with three or so two hour
self-focused study sessions each week, plus a few hours on
the weekend, a typically Masters scholar can complete the
degree in eight to ten months.
A committed Doctoral candidate can finish the task in ten to twelve
months without leaving home and at about one fifth the cost
of an on campus degree. After all - we eliminate the time
consuming non-essentials and focus on the pure gold of
Logotherapy - which enables us to serve you so very, very
well. Now, please examine our superb courses available for
your use.
